About Seth Cooper
Seth is a 19-year-old American DJ, blogger, radio personality and sports enthusiast who lives with cerebral palsy, which significantly impairs the right side of his body.
Seth began into on air- radio personality business at age 12 starting in November of 2012 interning with Regional Radio Group and under the wing of Dan Miner, Pete Cloutier and John Pratt and Matt Twardy. In 2014 Cooper was hired two be on air jock for WCKM’s sister station Hits 95.9. You can listen to Cooper on Saturday afternoon’s from 11-3 on Hits 95.9.
Before being hired in May 2014 at Regional Radio Group, Cooper interned with the Glens Falls Golden Eagles Baseball Club as head broadcaster and would assist in digital content with the team. His passion for broadcasting continued to call games with the Glens Falls Dragons and was brought in to serve as head broadcaster and media relations. Cooper has called East Field his home for the past three seasons in the summer.
Cooper has also had the chance to intern Adirondack Flames Hockey Club in September to April of 2014 in the communications department and shadowing Game Operations. He then later stayed on staff with the Adirondack Thunder in the East Coast Hockey league who would replace the Adirondack Flames in the start of the 2015-16 hockey season. Seth made his professional hockey broadcasting debut on December 2nd 2016 along side head broadcaster Cameron Close where he saw the Adirondack Thunder skate away with a 5-1 victory.
Cooper lives in South Glens Falls New York along side his parents Tim and Joanne Cooper.
